PENSION BOARD
The Pension Board meets at 4:30 p.m. Monday, April 28 in Conference Room 391 on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.

COMMISSION ON DISABILITY ISSUES
The Commission on Disability Issues meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 28 in Conference Room 360 on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.
On the agenda: The commission will discuss an annual sunshine ordinance; review and discuss the city’s draft housing element, its “blueprint” for housing development, for 2015-23; and discuss the Social Service Human Relations Board’s needs survey planning and schedule.

On the agenda: The board will consider approval of street names for the Alameda Landing residential development; review and discuss the city’s draft housing element, its “blueprint” for housing development, for 2015-23; consider a draft master plan for development of the Del Monte warehouse; and consider a draft plan for a waterfront town center at Alameda Point.

BOARD OF EDUCATION
The Board of Education meets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 29 in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.
On the agenda: The board will receive reports on potential amounts and structures for a proposed facilities bond program, Measure A parcel tax expenditures and supplemental grants under the local control funding formula, the state’s new school funding scheme. The board will also consider approving a restructuring plan for Will C. Wood Middle School, changes to physical education requirements for high school students, an 11-year lease agreement with Community Learning Center Schools, Inc. for space at the former Woodstock school and new salary schedules and job descriptions for paraprofessionals and office workers. The board will also discuss allocations of Measure A parcel tax funds for the 2014-15 school year and a template for a state-required local control and accountability plan for state funds. The board will also receive an updated report on energy consumption at schools and approve a proclamation for Asian-Pacific Island Heritage Month and a resolution honoring Employee Appreciation Month.

HISTORICAL ADVISORY BOARD
The Historical Advisory Board meets at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 1 in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.
On the agenda: The board will consider okaying a Certificate of Approval allowing the owner of a home at 1315 Mound Street to raise it 18 inches to create a habitable space in the basement, create a uniform roof line and restore its decorative elements. The board will also review and consider a draft plan for a waterfront town center at Alameda Point.
