Public Utilities Board
The Public Utilities Board meets at 7 p.m. Monday, August 19 in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.
On the agenda: The board will hear a report on the economic risks and uncertainty associated with Alameda Municipal Power’s power supply and consider a policy disallowing aggregation of solar and wind power loads onto one meter due to increased costs that posed to customers who don’t generate their own power. The board will also consider approval of a new contract for electrical maintenance technicians and supervisors.

Social Service Human Relations Board

Planning Board
The Planning Board will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 21 in council chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue.
On the agenda: The board will discuss a conceptual planning framework for a planned town center and waterfront areas at Alameda Point, including the proposed look and feel of development and what could be built in a host of different areas of the town center, and a plan for fixing or replacing streets, sewers, utilities and more at the Point, a job that’s now estimated to cost $566 million.
